Family Mediation Voucher Scheme

The Family Mediation Voucher Scheme, is available through The Family Mediation Centre if you are separating and would like to mediate children and child arrangements issues. Using our service the government contributes £500 towards your mediation costs. 

This is what you need to know:

You can only make one application per family.

The Voucher Scheme is not means tested, so anyone who is eligible can use it. 

During your Mediation Information Assessment Meeting (MIAM) we will provide you with more details about the Voucher Scheme.

The voucher scheme does not cover your MIAM costs.

Once you have used the voucher, if there are additional mediation costs these will need to be paid for by each of you.

The voucher is not available if you had a MIAM prior to 26th March 2021.

The Voucher Scheme is government funded so may be stopped at any time and is subject to availability.
